By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site.

Any new features which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Age Restriction

You must be 18 or older to buy alcohol. By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are 18 or older. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient also has to be 18 or older.

Deliveries must be accepted by a person aged 18 or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

If you are buying alcohol from outside of the UK then the above rules apply but based on the legal age requirement of your place of residence

Orders

If we are unable to fulfill the whole of your order for any reason we will contact you via the email address provided on your order to arrange for replacement items if possible. If we have the majority of your order ready but are unable to make contact with you then a decision could be made to refund the items that are not available and send the order with the items that are available. If there is a significant change we do reserve the right to hold your order and await for your further instructions prior to fulfilling.

If you have placed an order for any items that were on "pre-order" basis, please ensure that you make a note of the targeted dispatch date and that this might be subject to change. If there are any delays on pre-ordered items we will contact you immediately informing you of any revised details.

If we have reason to believe that your order has been placed with the intention to resell the beer at a higher markup your order will be cancelled. This platform is a retail sales outlet for the public to purchase our beers. This is not a wholesale platform. We cannot provide invoices for orders placed on this website. All orders will be delivered with a digital receipt of purchase.

Standard Returns Policy

If goods are to be returned to Burnt Mill Brewery Ltd, they must be returned in their original packaging, within 14 days of purchase. You will be refunded for the goods once received back into our warehouse, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. Contact us at shop@burntmillbrewery.com if you would like to return your goods back to us and we will help you to do this.

We do not accept returns of perishable goods (all of our beer products) from outside of the UK.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If there is a problem with your order or items are faulty, you must inform Burnt Mill Brewery Ltd within 30 days of receipt of the order to obtain a refund. To report a problem please contact us at shop@burntmillbrewery.com We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds after this time period has elapsed, but we will do everything in our power to try to work something out.

If an attempted delivery is obviously damaged, you are within your rights to refuse the order, at which point it will be returned to us. If you choose to do this, please contact us at shop@burntmillbrewery.com and we will either resend the order, or issue a full refund or offer a voucher for the spent amount on your next order, whichever you prefer.

Failed Deliveries

We cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and postal code or incorrect contact telephone number. Please check this information when placing your order.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Taxes and Other Charges

As these orders are paid for in the UK, VAT is payable on all online shop orders regardless of the country of final destination. We keep all international surcharges to a minimum where possible, but this charge is not something we can waiver.

We try to keep any international surcharges to a minimum for the customer to have as smooth a shopping experience as possible. However, any international orders may have unexpected local customs charges applied. It is the customers responsibility to clear any custom/tax costs, so please ensure you are happy to do so before placing your order. If you choose to refuse your delivery due to any additional fees, we reserve the right to deduct shipping and any other costs incurred before processing your refund after we have received your return.

Gift Cards

"Gift Cards" are generated codes that will be sent to you via an email. The codes can be entered at the checkout and redeemed as a form of payment. The Gift card codes are considered currency so the full code will only be visible on the e-mail received by the customer.

Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.

Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?
Yes. You can redeem
another gift card during checkout.

Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?
No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card.

Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping?
Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping.

Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?
Yes, gift cards are a form of payment.

Can I get a refund to a gift card?
Yes. If you used a gift card to pay the refund will be applied back to the gift card.

Can gift cards be reloaded?
No, you can't reload a gift card.
 

BMB Rewards Scheme

By choosing to collect and redeem BMB Coin, you agree to be bound by these terms and you consent that we process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

1. How do I join the Reward Scheme?

1.1. This Reward Scheme is only open for people over the age of 18. You are enrolled in the Reward Scheme when you choose to open an account.

1.2. Only one Reward Scheme account per person is permitted. You must also ensure that a valid and current email address is in your account. We assume no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect customer information.

2. How do I earn BMB Coin?

2.1 BMB Coin can be earned by any of the following methods:

(i) Making a qualifying purchase. Every qualifying purchase will earn BMB Coin at the rate of 1 BMB Coin for every £1 spent, excluding VAT & delivery charges. BMB Coin are awarded after any relevant discounts or promotions have been deducted from your shopping. BMB Coin are awarded only on the final amount you actually pay excluding VAT & delivery charges.

(ii) Complete an action.  There are various actions that you can complete to earn BMB Coin which are listed in the earn rewards section.

Referring friends: Please note that If you refer a new customer to us you will receive a discount voucher not BMB Coin. 

2.2. There is no limit to the number of BMB Coin you can earn. Please note that there may be a delay in posting BMB Coin to your account. If you feel there is a discrepancy in your account, you can notify us within 30 days following the transaction or action date for which you believe you should have received BMB Coin. We may require documentation to support any discrepancy claim.

2.3. No BMB Coin will be earned for the following non-qualifying purchases and actions: (i) Purchases made before the implementation of the Reward Scheme; (ii) Purchases made when not logged in to your account; (iii) Purchases made through the use of gift cards.

2.4. If a qualifying purchase is returned for a refund, the number of BMB Coin associated with the amount spent on the returned item will be deducted from your BMB Coin account balance. Should you have already redeemed those BMB Coin, such amount will be set-off against your refund at a value of £0.04 per BMB Coin.

3. How can I redeem my BMB Coin?

3.1. BMB Coin can be redeemed for products as sold on our Site. Subject to our rights to add, delete, or otherwise make changes to the Reward Scheme structure, certain products may be ineligible for BMB Coin redemption.

3.2 BMB Coin are not redeemable for cash.

4. Do BMB Coin expire?

4.1. At present BMB Coin do not expire.  We have not set an expiration date at this time but we do reserve the right that this could be subject to change in the future.  Any changes would be communicated with plenty of notice.

5. General

5.1. Disclaimer of Warranties. We make no warranty of any kind regarding the Reward Scheme, which is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We expressly disclaim any representation or warranty that our program will be error-free. We further disclaim any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any content or information distributed with respect to the Reward Scheme. We expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions, including implied warranties and conditions of merchant-ability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and those arising by statute or otherwise in law or from a course of dealing or usage of trade.

5.2. No cash redemption. BMB coin have no cash value. BMB Coin are not redeemable for cash, and can only be redeemed for products on our Site. The sale of BMB Coin is strictly prohibited.

5.3. No Waiver. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing. No waiver of any of the provisions of these Terms shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions hereof, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided.

5.4. Release of Liability. You release us, along with our officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all liability relating to your membership or participation in the Reward Scheme and its Terms along with our general Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

5.5. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the remainder of these Terms, which will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

5.6. Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire Reward Scheme agreement between you and us. They supersede all prior or other arrangements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether oral or written.

5.7. Changes to the Reward Scheme.

5.7.1. We reserve the right to add to and/or change the Reward Scheme at any time, at our sole discretion. This may include changing the number of BMB Coin earned for various actions and activities, or changing what activities and actions are eligible for BMB Coin. In addition, we may change the number of BMB Coin required to redeem. We may also change the value of each BMB Coin.

5.7.2. Any changes or modifications to the Reward Scheme will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to this page, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued participation in the Reward Scheme will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications, and your agreement to be bound by these Terms and any changes or modifications thereof; therefore, you should review these Terms frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to the Reward Scheme. 5.7.3. We reserve the right to terminate the Reward Scheme with 3 months prior notice. Your right to earn BMB Coin and redeem accumulated BMB Coin will terminate three months after we give you this notice.

5.8. Violation of Terms. We may terminate your account and you will forfeit all accumulated BMB Coin if you violate these Terms. We reserve the right to freeze or terminate the Reward Scheme account of any person in the event of any fraud or abuse in connection with this Reward Scheme. In such a case, all BMB Coin in the account will be forfeited. Burnt Mill Brewery Ltd reserves the right to modify, remove, delete or change BMB Coin in any account that were done in error, whether human or computer error.

5.9. The interpretation and application of these Terms are in the sole discretion and determination of us, which in each case shall be final and conclusive. Reward Scheme is void where prohibited by law.
